Looking for a WhiteFlag alternative?
WhiteFlag is a free, anonymous peer support app. You pick what you are going through, such as depression, addiction or loneliness, raise a flag, and get matched for a one-to-one chat with someone who has been there too. It is an app (rated 18+ on the App Store) from a company based in Denver, in the United States. If you want something similar that opens right in your browser, with no app and no signup, Zuzu Club may be a good fit.
What feels the same, and what is different
- The same idea at heart: one person, one to one, anonymous, and free.
- Nothing to install: open zuzu.club on any phone or computer, anywhere in the world.
- No profile and no account: a soft, random name every visit.
- You choose to Vent or Listen. You are not matched by topic, so the person who listens may not share your story, but they chose to listen.
- Chats are not saved. When you leave, the conversation is gone.
- Clicked with someone? If you both tap Meet Again, Zuzu lets you know when you are both here.
- If no one is around to chat, the Zuzu AI Companion keeps you company, always labeled as AI.
- When you would rather not talk, let a worry go in Let Go, or share a feeling in the Sky of Thoughts.
When WhiteFlag may suit you better
If it matters to you to talk with someone who has lived through the same thing, such as recovery from addiction or the loss of someone to suicide, WhiteFlag is built around that kind of matching, and Zuzu is not. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a crisis helpline right away.

Before you switch from WhiteFlag
Is Zuzu Club a safe WhiteFlag alternative?
Zuzu Club is built to be gentle: no names, no profiles, Report and Block in every chat, and free helplines one tap away. It is young (it opened in 2026) and run by one person, and every report reaches the maker right away. The rules are public in Privacy & Terms and Community Safety. Never share your real name or contact details with a stranger.
Are my chats on Zuzu Club saved or read?
No. Chats with a person are not saved and are not read by Zuzu, by a person or by AI. If you report someone, Zuzu keeps the reason, the two temporary names, the time and the approximate country for 90 days, never the messages.
Are the listeners on Zuzu Club trained?
Listeners on Zuzu Club are kind people who chose to listen, and might not always be counselors or therapists. Every listener is pointed to the free Listener guide, with example chats, a practice round and what to do when a chat gets heavy, so anyone can learn to listen well at their own pace. If you want trained or professional help, a service with trained listeners or a licensed therapist may suit you better.
