Looking for a Wysa alternative?
Wysa is an AI companion app that listens and suggests self-help exercises based on CBT and mindfulness. Chatting with the AI is free, with paid premium tools and human coaching, and many people get it through a health service or employer. If you would rather talk to a real person, Zuzu puts people first.
People first, AI only as a backup
- Talk 1:1 with a real stranger: Vent to be heard, or Listen to someone else.
- The Zuzu AI Companion steps in only when no person is free, and it is always labelled as AI.
- Nothing to install: it works in any browser, with no account.
- Everything is free. No premium tools and no coaching plans.
- Zuzu does not save chats. When one ends, it is gone.
- Feelings you can share, not just track: post to the Sky of Thoughts, or let a worry go.
When Wysa may suit you better
Wysa offers structured exercises, mood tracking and, for a fee, sessions with trained coaches, and it is used by NHS Talking Therapies in the UK. If you want guided self-help, or you have access through your health service or employer, Wysa may suit you better.
A gentle note
Neither Zuzu nor its AI Companion is therapy or a crisis service. If you are in danger, please contact local emergency services or a helpline right away.
