There is a moment most of us have felt but never quite put into words, surrounded by people, and still feeling completely alone with something.
I have been lucky. I have good friends, a close family, people I can call. But a couple of yrs ago, even with all of that, I found myself needing somewhere to just... get off my chest & vent out. Not to get advice. Not to be fixed. Just to say it out loud to someone who would listen without it changing anything between us.
I went looking for that place. What I found were platforms that meant well but felt like waiting rooms, cold, ad cluttered & built like nobody actually cared how it felt to be there at your lowest.
That stayed with me.
I am a computer engineer by education, an Internaut by nature and spiritual at heart. I build things. And when something bothers me enough, I cannot help but wonder, what would this look like if someone actually cared?
So I studied this subject & ran a survey. Not to validate a business idea, but because I genuinely wanted to know if others felt the same. They did. More than I expected. People from all walks of life, quietly carrying things they had nowhere to put. Not looking for therapy. Not looking for a diagnosis. Just looking for a moment to exhale.
That is Zuzu. A place to exhale.
Zuzu Club is also a gentle boredom buster and an antidote to toxic doomscrolling: a few calm, human minutes instead of another endless feed.
I also wanted it to be accessible for everyone. Tap the small figure at the top to make text bigger, add more spacing, turn on high contrast or an easier font, or have messages read aloud.
Everything about it, the night sky, the soft music, the anonymity, the way a session ends, is designed to make you feel like someone cared enough to build this just for you. Because honestly, that is exactly why it exists. To give you a feel-good vibe.
Zuzu is self-funded & deliberately without monetization. I refuse to let a vulnerable moment be interrupted by an ad or compromised by a revenue target. The experience stays whole or it stays nothing. I hope I can keep it going for a long time. If you believe in what this is trying to be and want to support it financially, creatively, or just with a good idea, I would genuinely love to hear from you.
I prefer to stay anonymous. It keeps this space truly private and anonymous, and it keeps the focus on Zuzu, not on me. Zuzu was never meant to be about me anyway. It is about the person who opens it at 2am with something they cannot say to anyone they know.
If that is ever you, you are in the right place to empower your mind, body and soul.
And if you want to connect, collaborate, or just say something, write to me at hello@zuzu.club. Good people and good conversations are always welcome here.
Three ways to feel lighter
- Let Go (private): Write a worry and release it into the night sky. It is never made public or shown to other users.
- Sky of Thoughts (shared): Share a feeling anonymously and see what others are feeling too.
- Vent & Listen (with a person): Talk one to one with a real stranger when you want to be heard, or listen to someone who does.
