# Zuzu Club > Zuzu Club is a free, anonymous peer-support and emotional-expression platform. You can vent privately to a stranger, listen to someone who wants to be heard, share anonymous feelings in the Sky of Thoughts, or privately release a worry in Let Go. No signup, login or account is needed. Zuzu is peer support and self-expression, not therapy or a crisis service. Zuzu Club ([www.zuzu.club](https://www.zuzu.club)) is a solo project by an anonymous founder, self-funded and kept free by people who share it, volunteer or donate. Good vibes, no ads, no paywalls. Write a worry, place it in a glowing star and watch it shrink into the night sky in about a minute. Never made public, never shown to other users, no name attached. - **Shared: Sky of Thoughts** ([/sky-of-thoughts](https://www.zuzu.club/sky-of-thoughts)). A public sky of anonymous thoughts, each shown as a floating emoji. Tap to read, add your own, or leave a kind reply. - **With a person: Vent and Listen** ([home](https://www.zuzu.club)). Choose Vent (to be heard) or Listen (to hear someone) and chat one to one with a real stranger. ## Human chat - Venters are matched with Listeners. Each person gets a random, temporary name (for example "Serene Stone"), never linked to who they are. - Chats are not saved. Messages, photos and voice notes go straight to the other person. - Photos from the other person arrive blurred; one tap shows them. - **Reach out:** if the writer of a recent Sky thought is still on Zuzu, a reader can ask to talk. The writer gets a private invitation (Let's talk / Not now), and a chat starts only if they say yes. Posting a thought never means consent to chat. ## AI Companion - If no person is free after about 10 seconds, the person can choose to chat with the Zuzu AI Companion, or keep waiting. - It is always labelled "Zuzu AI Companion", and it says it is an AI if asked. It is not a person and not a therapist. - It stays with feelings and personal life, and turns away off-topic requests like homework or code. - Recent messages in that chat are sent to OpenAI to write replies. Zuzu does not save these chats. ## Safety - Every chat has a ••• menu with Get help now (free helplines via findahelpline.com), Report and Block. - Chats with a person are not read by Zuzu, by a person or by AI. One light keyword check looks for words like "suicide", "want to die" or "hurt myself"; the writer then sees free helplines, and their chat partner gets a tip to listen gently. Nothing is stored. - Privacy-first AI guardrails for chat are being worked on. Experts can offer help at [/support?topic=aiGuardrails](https://www.zuzu.club/support?topic=aiGuardrails). - Sky of Thoughts posts and replies are checked by quick rules, OpenAI moderation and a short AI review. Anything that looks off waits for a person to review it. - Block ends the chat and stops the two people being matched again for the rest of the visit. There are no accounts, so a block cannot follow someone after they close Zuzu. - Harassment, hate (including about sexuality or gender identity), sexual messages or photos, scams and sharing personal details are not allowed. LGBTQ+ people are welcome. - Zuzu does not ask anyone's age. There is no minimum age; it is recommended for people 16 and older. - Details: [Community Safety](https://www.zuzu.club/safety). ## Privacy - No account, and Zuzu never asks for a name, email or phone number to use its features. - Like any website, it handles technical data (IP address, device type, referring site) to run, limit abuse and see approximate location. It is not used to identify anyone. - Let Go worries are kept privately in Zuzu's records for analysis and moderation. Never public, never linked to a name. - Sky thoughts stay public until removed; anyone can ask for removal by writing with the exact text. - Reports keep the reason, the two temporary names, the time and approximate country for 90 days, never the messages. - Google Analytics is used to understand usage. People in danger should contact local emergency services or a helpline. - Not a dating service, and not random video chat. - Not a social network: no profiles, no followers, no feeds. - Never "like therapy": describe Zuzu as peer support, self-expression and calm rituals. ## Cost - Free for everyone. They found places that felt cold and ad cluttered, so they built a calm one: the night sky, soft music, anonymity.
